Create a personal photo book showcasing my photography work with an emphasis on an editorial essence. The objective is to curate a collection of images that not only highlights my photography skills but also conveys a narrative or thematic cohesion reminiscent of editorial storytelling.
Solution
The essence of the book focuses on a cohesive visual narrative, thoughtful sequencing, and incorporating elements that evoke a magazine-style layout. I wear multiple hats as the set creator, makeup artist, and stylist, contributing to every aspect of the photo shoot. This level of involvement allows for a holistic and cohesive vision, ensuring that every element, from the location to makeup and outfits, aligns with the editorial essence I am aiming for. I wanted to create a standout photo book that could serve as a meaningful gift for friends and family, while also laying the groundwork as a future coffee table book for sale.
